Fun packed wedding at Layer Marney Tower...

Thursday 23rd July was the wedding of the new Mr & Mrs Indge. We provided our complete wedding DJ & disco service at the amazing Layer Marney Tower, Colchester.
Our clients had plenty of entertainment in store for the guests, including a cartoon artist throughout their wedding breakfast, a inflatable rodeo bull in the court yard, fireworks, a band and of course me! ;-)
You will see from the pictures below the first dance was well rehearsed by the bride and groom. I was sworn not to tell soul about the secret twist half way through. I have also posted a link below to a video a guest has posted on YouTube for you to see for yourselves...
The evening party worked well with us performing alongside the band and all the guests enjoyed the mix of music played.

I would like to wish the new Mr & Mrs Indge all the best for the future as husband and wife.

Smeetham Hall Barn...

Saturday 11th July was our first visit to Smeetham Hall Barn, Sudbury. We provided our complete wedding DJ & disco service for the new Mr & Mrs Foot.

This amaizng and stunning 16th century barn is owned by the Hyde Parker's. Bridget and her team run a very professional and friendly wedding venue in an idyllic setting.

Our clients also booked our optional up-lighters to enhance their wedding colours and ‘pink’ theme. Throughout the wedding breakfast the top table was back-lit with four LED up-lighters, these were then moved to the dance floor area, to complement the ‘disco lighting’ ready for the evening party.
A great evening was had by all, many comments were made from guests on how good the music selection was and the ‘mixing skills’ of the DJ.

I would like to wish the new Mr & Mrs Foot all the best for the future as husband and wife.

Congratulations to our own Dave & Hayley...

I am sure this Blog has been eagerly awaited. I would like to personally send our congratulations to our very own Dave & Hayley (the new Mr & Mrs Drane!) They were married on 23rd May 2009 at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church in Clacton on Sea, followed by the wedding breakfast and evening reception at Le Talbooth in Dedham.
The whole day was magnificent and could not have run smoother. Dave & Hayley had spent many, many months planning every last detail (and it showed!).

They both would like to extend their thanks out to the selected suppliers within the wedding industry who made their day even more special.

They have these messages for them....

Abigail’s collection:
“The high standard of service and professional planning from Abi, Rob & Lauren made our brides maids look stunning and the guys very dapper indeed. Thank you”

A-Team Heroes:
“Thank you for fulfilling a childhood dream of riding in the A-Team Van! The trip from my parents house, through the town centre, then to the church will stay with me forever. A great touch!”

American Dreams:
“Thank you to Roy with his 1959 Fleetwood Cadillac. It really was a head turner”

Bunce Video:
"Warren & Debbie are honestly amazing at what they do. They videoed our day in such a way that we did not even know they were there. However when we watch our DVD back. They did not miss a thing! Thank you”

Calanthus Floral Design:
"Chris your extensive knowledge of flowers and enthusiasm was great. Your ‘quirky’ designs and ‘funky ‘ feel with the arrangements were just what we imagined. Everyone commented on how outstanding the flowers were!”

Craig Williams Photography:
"What can we say!?! We are both truly speechless with our wedding pictures! The hard work and attention to detail Craig and Kate put in when they are taking photos really does shine through. We are both proud to be close friends with you and thank you so so much”

Eternal Flame:
"My dress was just as I had pictured it in my head, right from a little girl. Thank you for all your hard work. Linda and the girls here are fantastic at what they do!”

Freddie & Friends New Orleans Jazz Band:
“You gentlemen are highly talented and true professional musicians. Everybody has commented on how amazing our jazz band on the lawn was. You all kept the atmosphere up and fun for all. Many thanks!”

Le Talbooth:
"We must start by thanking Alex for her initial help in the planning stages of our wedding. She was always very helpful with any questions we had, big or small. Our thanks also go to Umesh, and Richard for the great hard work on the day. To Umesh for his planning and helping with our menu and wine selection, plus for making sure our every need was taken care of and that all our guest were well on the day. To Richard for his amazing co-ordination of staff during the wedding breakfast. Of course to the team of highly skilled chefs for mouth watering food. And to all the Milsoms group staff who played a big part in making the day run so smoothly."

"A last big special thanks goes to the crew who without them the evening party would not have been so amazing and the marquee would have not looked as it did.
Mark, Paul & Martin, your efforts very early on the day left both myself and Hayley speechless when we walked into the marquee for the entrance! We both were so over whelmed. The Guys had flown not 1, not 2, but 4! 50cm mirror balls in the roof along with 2 moving heads. more effect lighting, LED up-lighters and a black & white dancefloor, really did exceed expectations.
Thank you also to Martin for a grand job of DJing the first part of the evening, and thanks to Paul for DJing the seconds set."

You will see from the pictures taken by Craig & Kate below that Dave & Hayley had the best day of there lives!
